Team Charlie

Team Charlie is a charity that was established in 2022 by the loving parents of Charlie IIsley, who tragically lost his battle with a brain tumour at just 13 years old. They have chosen to honour his memory by supporting other children and their families across Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire by granting wishes for gifts and family days out, bringing joy and comfort when it’s needed most.

How families benefit

Feedback from families who have benefited from Team Charlie's efforts has been considerable. It serves as a beautiful reminder that even in difficult circumstances, moments of happiness can still be created. This work not only uplifts spirits but also ensures that Charlie’s legacy lives on in the smiles of those they help.

Current Plans

• Team Charlie is on an ambitious journey to acquire "Charlie’s Retreat," a holiday home nestled in the picturesque Cotswolds
• This retreat aims to provide much-needed respite for families navigating the toughest periods of their lives
• The charity needs £58,000 for a pre-owned three-bedroom holiday home and anticipates annual running costs between £10-12,000
• To date, they have raised an impressive £36,000 and are hopeful to welcome families by Spring 2025
